Tele-connect + horn wire??

Question

Hi I have a 2017 Subaru Legacy(standard key) with Evo-One and I’m going to install the Tele-connect device

and on the manual step2 to connect yellow wire to positive horn wire but the evo-one is already connected to the negative horn wire, do I still need to connect the yellow wire from the tele-connect to positive horn wire?

i tried searching where/what color my cars positive horn wire but couldn’t find it.
Also if I connected the horn wire from tele-connect do I need to disconnect the horn wire from EVO-One?

i believe the teleconnect horn input is to be connected to the cars (+) horn wire so that your teleconnect knows when the oem alarm is ringing.  its not a required connection. The manufacturer would be the best place to get an answer for the teleconnect.

 

your (+)horn wire is directly at the horn.

Thanks for reply,if I don’t connect the horn wire of tele connect,when the alarm is triggered it won’t notify me on my phone?or will it still?thanks

it will NOT notify you if the wire is not connected.
