Red LED stays on ofter 10 blinks 2009 tundra

Question

During the immobilizer programming process everythig works perfect until the very end, I get it into programming mode insert the  key it flashes red 10 times but then stays on after I remove the key and the vehicle will start but the immobilizer kicks in after 8 seconds.

If the red led stayed on at the end, simply unplug power and ground then re connect power and ground the red led should be off at this point.
