Does start sequence unlock doors

2016 Corolla, "H" Key, Manual. EVO-One with T-Harness

Just wondering if the doors need to unlock as part of the start sequence? Or if the doors stay locked during remote start? Thanks

If the vehicle has an oem alarm, the doors will unlock to disarm the oem alarm, the car will remote start, then the doors will relock.

This happens to my 2014 camaro with evo all installed except it will not start successfully. It cranks but unlocks the door and stops.
