Bought a used car with a Evo 2

I bought a used truck, it came with a Evo 2 system. Its very impressive and was a nice bonus. I would like to update it to have a dealer thats local to me, also does the old owner have the ability to start and stop the vehicle if they still have the app?

The previous owner did leave the owners manul and activation code. I have been using it.

The Activation code is only for 1 user. If you were able to add it to your account it means the previous owner does not have it in his account.
