What options are available to activate using the Evo-all as a stand-alone unit?  Such as wait to start, turbo timer, etc.?  How would these options be activated?

All options in the EVO and flashing firmwares require the Flash-Link Updater unit and the Flash-Link Manager (free download) installed in your computer.

Thank you for the information Robert.  So if I understand correctly, to have a delay start (grid heater/glow plugs for a diesel truck) and turbo timer I would need one of the compatable remote start boxes (compustar, etc.).

Thanks,

Jake
If you absolutely need the Turbo Timer, then yes, a separate remote starter would be recommended. Diesel timer is included in the EVO if you want to use the unit as a Stand Alone piece.

Keep in mind, that the Stand Alone remote starting feature is not available for all vehicles. A continuingly updating list can be here.

That's awesome news! How is the diesel timer activated? Is that part of the diesel mode? I have a 2006 dodge diesel with auto so it should function as a stand alone. Thanks for all the help!
Hmmm, Sorry for delay, i haven't been getting emails lately when people comment (major pain in the butt)

Once you turn on the Diesel mode, there is a timer already integrated in the unit. I believe its set at 15 or 20 seconds. And yes, Stand Alone will work on that 2006 Dodge as long as it's automatic.
