Why does the Tachometer Signal die After switching A/T Form P to D.

TOYOTA Corolla 2013 with 80bit G-key and A/T. I'm using a EVO-ALL with D2D Data-Link Cable conected to Alarm + Remote Start + Push-To-Start conversion Combo system that need a constant tachometer signal. The problem I have is that the EVO-ALL Tachometer signal dies while switching the A/T form P to R or D exactly when the car starts to move. Everything work great you can leave the car with the engine runnig during 30 minutes and the tachometer is there. It seems that the EVO-ALL is monitoring the A/T sensors through CANBUS.

Questions: Is the EVO-ALL only for Remote Start? Is it normal that the tachometer signal is shut off when EVO-ALL detects that you are no longer in Remote Start mode?

The EVO-ALL does not detect gear shifting through Can.

Is the EVO-ALL only for Remote Start?

It's only tested with remote starters and alarms, but  an advanced installer would be able to do whatever he wants with it.

Is it normal that the tachometer signal is shut off when EVO-ALL detects that you are no longer in Remote Start mode?

Tach is always present as long as ignition is on and that the EVO's yellow wire is properly fed ignition. The RnD tech will do some tests on tach signal if present when the vehicle is out of park. This might take awhile for this test.

When pressing on the foot-brake to shift gears, would the remote remote starter not shut-down and stop sending the GWR signal which would cause the tach output from the EVO-ALL to stop?

GwR or not, the EVO will be sending tach. Should be anyway. Fred and JP already now about this case and will be doing some tests in a near future.
