Placement of the EVO Start LTE

Question

I'm thinking of adding a EVO Start LTE but i'm wondering of the placement, the manual seems to state that it should be under the dash with a clear "sky view". At the moment, my Evo all is tucked behind the ventilation on the left of the streering wheel. Would that place be acceptable or i'll need to "remove" the whole top of the dash to add it?

In the same line of thought, I cannot seems to find the device size is it somewhere on the web?

Hello,

You can place it in varying places and it will still function, the guide is just an "ideal" situation. Personally i have mine in the fuse box area between my drivers door and dashboard. Behiind the vent is probably fine as well.

Be mindful of where you place the temp sensor.

I dont have the exact mesurements on hand at the moment but its roughly the size of a snickers chocolate bar.
