Remote starter only works after manually starting vehicle.

Question

So I purchased the Evo All and got it professionally installed. Today it's the second day and still have not been able to start the car without first manually starting and stopping the vehicle. Once I park and leave the car it just won't remotely start if I wait a few minutes. Seems like the remote won't start the system that let's the remote start the vehicle. That's why turning on and off the vehicle makes it work because the system it's already running.

Sounds like the immobilizer potion never properly programmed. That why it works for a couple seconds after the key has  been removed.

Sounds like they may of grabbed a 12volt constant, that actually is not constat. Its going to sleep and therfore the remote start does not have power. I would talk with the person/place that installed it, and let them know what is going on.
