2007 Altima auto headlight does not turn off

2007 Altima

First question: When the headlights are set to auto and I remote start the vehicle using a timer start function the headlights don't turn off when the remote start shuts off. Can the EVO-All shut off the headlights?

Similiarly if I remote start the vehicle and don't enter the vehicle and turn the remote start off the headlights stay on.

Second question: When I activate the remote start while vehicle is on/running to valet takeover, vehicle shuts off when I re-enter. I activate remote start before exiting the vehicle then use the remote start fob to lock the doors and car is running off remote start. I then unlock with remote start fob and enter the vehicle, but when I hit the brake pedal the vehicle shuts off. It should allow takeover as it does normally.

Is the pink/black wire connected to the driver door pin ?

I don't believe I did. Looking at the install instructions it looks like I may have missed that. I will double check this weekend.

For the 2nd question, would the same wire be the issue?
pink/black not connected is your problem for autolight.

It shouldn't shut down the car but I will look into it.
the car will shut down when you open a door if the EVO did see an unlock signal. This will most likely happen with the OEM remote since we cannot detect it through Can on the 2007-2008 models. You may need to wire the purple/white unlock input of the EVO to the starter unlock which is connected to your vehicles unlock wire. That and enabling option C1 - OEM remote monitoring should allow take over from both remotes.

The vehicle shutting down when you hit the brake through makes no sense. Only time it should do that is if someone is pressing the brake while already in the vehicle without doing unlock from a remote and not opening a door.
Pink/Black wire took care of the auto headlight.

Not sure I understand your reply for the 2nd question. I am not using the OEM remote only the remote start remote. I have the same remtoe start installed in my other car (TSX) and I can do a valet takeover but I'm not sure what is happening on this car since it has PTS.

After I exit the car while in valtet takeover mode, I use the remote start remote to lock the doors and then remote start remote to unlock the doors. The car continues to run after I open the door and enter. It isn't till i hit the brake to shift gears when it shuts off.
What is the service number so we can see firmware and options currently on the unit? Also, which model remote starter and are you in datalink or wire-to-wire ?
