Lock and Unlock for Hyundai Elantra 2016 key start

0 votes

Can someone help me identify where the lock and unlock on the Hyundai Elantra 2016 key start is?  The wirecolor guide doesn't have it listed at all. Or is the only option to use the CAN for it?

Also, if there is a wire for lock/unlock or arm/disarm, does it go to sleep? How do we wake it?

Thanks in advance!

Power Lock - dash fuse box, white 24 pin plug (C), pin 19 Pink/Black

Power Unlock - dash FB, white 24 pin plug (C), pin 20 Yellow/Black (All Doors), wht 24 pin plg (G), pin 23 Yellow/Orange (drivers door only).

This is only the lock and unlock...Arm and dis arm are seperate and require a relay to open the loc detection wire on Arm. also requires pulsing lock detection on dis-arm.

Thanks for the quick answer Derek.  So I would need 4 pulsed outputs (and a relay) to make this work (lock, arm, unlock, disarm)? Sounds like it will be much easier to use a CAN module to control the locks.. do you agree?

Alternatively, if we're only using our OEM unit to lock and lock, we could avoid using arm/disarm altogether (ie. when it locks, it doesn't ARM automatically). But do the locks timeout/sleep after a period of inactivity?

Cheers

Tim
Would be best to just have the locks done on can for sure like an Evo-All.

I dont know about the door locks going to sleep? I've never personally done this car.
