2015 Titan horn chirp

0 votes
I am trying to get the horn to chirp on remote start, as well as locking. 2015 Nissan Titan EVO-ONE Ser 002b04275287. I measured the orange/black for a -ve pulse, and do not see anything. Am I missing an option?

Hello,

"I am trying to get the horn to chirp on remote start, as well as locking"

- The evo-one does not offer horn chirp on remote start. Horn chirp while locking is only supported with Fortin RF kit and your unit is currently set to chirp the horn only on the 2nd lock command, not the first (option 11).

Best regards.

I changed the option on the starter. I have a 441 remote fob on the system. I do not get any chirp, nor do I get a ground on the orange/black wire, upon pressing the lock on the fob.

Any suggestions?
What did you connect orange/black to in the vehicle?

How did you test the output on the evo-one?
I used an ohm meter on the orange/black.  i changed from short to long horn pulse just to be sure.
That would be incorrect for testing the output.

Your meter should be in V DC, red probe on a constant 12v, black probe on the orange/black, when locking or unlocking the meter should breifly read 12v indicating a ground output from the evo.

Thank you. Added relay and it worked.
