will not program, i don't get anything but red light

Question

2011 ford focus with t harness.  i have everyting plugged in and went threw programming sequence and still just have red light.  also i have can high and low wired do i need any other wires wired

from the 20-pin connector (A).. pin A1, A10, A20 need to be connected to the T-harness. These are normally done at the time of install.

I hooked a1,a10, and a20 up  Now i still have an issue.  i only have 1 key is that going to cause problems.  when i put the key in an turn the yellow light comes on but then i try holding the programmer button to start it does nothing  i have decrypted it twice still no luck  I have unplugged it multiple times and nothing.  What can in try now

It is normal for the yellow light to turn on with ignition.

To remote start you need to press 3 times on the lock button on the oem remote.

 

What do you mean by "holding the programmer button to start" ?
