EVO-ONE: External Lock/Arm and Unlock/Disarm

Question

I would like to use external device to provide lock/arm and unlock/disarm signals to EVO-ONE.

Can EVO-ONE be configured for this situation? Can EVO-ONE security features be active?

I think this post is telling us that EVO-ONE does not have input for lock/unlock trigger signal (it makes sense why EVO-ALL would but EVO-ONE would not, i'm just looking for possible workaround).

I would like to add PKE kit to EVO-ONE, perhaps EVO-ONE supports lock/unlock from D2D?

EVO-one  does not have lock-unlock inputs but it does have a way to trigger rmeote start.

Only way to have it be controlled by something else is through the RF ports.

 

Usually a PKE installation is done with a bypass module such as the evo-all. Not a full remote start brain like the evo-one.

 

I would suggest you to contact the manufacturer of the PKE system to see their suggestions.

Thanks Robb. I agree with your conclusion, I need to use Evo-All with PKE and external RS to expose the lock/unlock. I was trying to use one less box, but such is life.

Follow up question:

EVO-ALL remote start take-over and alarm features are still supportted when lock/unlock signal is recieved on EVO-ALL lock/unlock inputs (purple, purple/white on 20-pin connectors). These features are not depedent on lock/unlock from OEM fob (on CANBUS), correct?

E.g. I would like to use RS fob or PKE fob to perform take over, arm/disarm EVO-ALL security.
