2009 Accord (manual trans) doesn't start unless I press the clutch

Hello, I tapped into the signal side of the clutch switch connector with a wire and connected it to the white wire on the 20 pin harness for an Evo One. If I take the clutch wire and connect it straight to the chassis ground the Evo One will start the car successfully, and it will also start successfully if I press the clutch with my foot while sitting in the car after setting ready mode.

I did not connect the horn, parking lights, or the auto lights off wires to the car as I wanted to test everything beforehand. I also do not have a hood pin installed as it is apparently not needed for my car. Is there a wire for the unit I have to connect to ground or an option to enable? I tried to check the white wire to ground continuity while remote starting and it didnt seem to actually go low. But then again I don't have an amazing meter so I may be mistaken. Not using a relay or anything as the guide did not seem to call for one.

Using an Evo One with a Hon5 t harness

Thank you

Edit:

Using the solid green wire for the clutch solved my issue.
