Red Light as soon as plug-in the data link

Hi,

I have a Jeep Patriot 2009.

I have used the two linked youtube videos for install, my installation will require the aftermarket FOBs.  So I will be using the remote that comes with the kit to start the car instead of the the factory Key FOB.

I bought the kit at amazon;

I have an EVO-ALL Service#: 001A06 563770

and LCPRO-4 Serial No. 1CFF98M6CM41063

My issues are, as soon as I plug the 4-Pin connector the light turns red, (solid, no blinking).

I tried to reset the Evo All but after pressing the button for 5 seconds, nothing happens.

I am just as far as the first step, I am worried more issues might arise, what could it be.

Please help!

When you hold the program button and insert the data link cable you need to continue holding the button. It will start of red then yellow then blue and then blue and red and will restart this same sequence. You want to hold it and release it once the LED is blue.

If this is a regular instal using a remote start and the evo all with no T-harness this should be the guide you are following:  http://ca.fortin.ca/download/28861/evo-all_chryslerdodgejeep_config1skreem_b20150216.pdf

I looked at the service number provided and did notice it was flashed for a 2012 patriot. It should still work but if you run into more problems just something to maybe go back and correct by setting the proper year for the vehicle.

My install requires a T-Harness. Now, how long does it take to change the color. I have pressed it for almost 30 seconds. Should I try more time?
I tried it for a second time. Pressed the program botton, then, connected the 4 pin, and the light never turns blue. (I have pressed the botton for almost 5 minutes without releasing and no change at all!
Is the LC-Pro4 plugged in while you are trying to program the EVO-ALL? If so, please unplug the Evo-All then try selecting the blue led again by releasing the programming button after plugging in the black 4 pin connector (datalink connector)

If the above sequence does not work you will need to re-flash the Evo All firmware by using the Flashlink Updater-2 (sold separately)

Thank you
I will need to reflash then,

Everything is unplugged but the 4 pin connector.

What should I run if I use the flash link?
