Hi. I'm currently working on my 2013 Nissan Rogue (w/intelli-key) but am encountering a roadblock on the ignition key barrel locking up when wired. I have read the troubleshooting section to take the other Red/White wire which is supposedly a key-sense and wire it up (diode isolated). So my question(s) is/are:

Do I wire it to the same Blue/White wire coming from the evo (red connector)? If so do I use a 1A diode as well? And so there are three(3) wires now on the same Blue/White wire (B/R-1st Key sense, R/W-Tumbler sense, and the other R/W-2nd Key-sense.

So therefore, I can't insert the key and turn the tumbler.

Hoping for a solution soon. Please lead me to the right path...

Many thanks.

There are 2 Red/White wires and 2 Red/Blue wires. One of each of those is a 12V source, the other is a Tumbler/Key Sense. Only wire the Red/Blue and Red/White that act as tumbler / key Sense to the White/Blue of the EVO as per instructions.

What looks like is happening now is that your key-sense is feeding the tumbler sense. This would be caused by a reversed diode or faulty diode.
