Push start button 22 Corolla

Question

Why do we need to tap into the push start button on 22 Corolla manual trans but not with auto trans ?

also why do we need to splice auto lights shut down on manual but not auto transmission?

Could we not do the install the same as automatic wiring and just add the clutch bypass wire from e6 to the clutch switch?

PTS connections are required for setting ready mode on manual transmission vehicles.

 

Auto light connection relates to ready mode being set as well.

 

If you follow the auto guide and only add the clutch, ready mode will not work, the vehicle will not shut down.
