installing cs800s w fortin int-sl+ every thing works fine while key is in switch what am i not getting hooked up

Question

unit will remote start with key in switch but wont when i take it out am i missing some connections

What does the led on the int-sl do when you remote start the vehicle? Did the module programm as indicated in the guide?

it does nothing the car attempts to start but not crank then i get 2 flashes of the parking lights stating the the key is off but if i put the key in it remote starts fine

what is connected to the ground while running of the int-sl?

its grounde to the chasis under the dash i have all of the power and ignition, starter w ires of the 8 pin conector wired to the cs800s also the brake wire tach wire hood pin to the cs800s it seems like the passkey system is not being bypassed like it should thats where im confused at. what wire have to be hooked fron the bypass module

The ground while running needs to go to the ground out or negative activation out of the compustar remote starter. It should not be permanently grounded to a chassis ground.

i just did the programming steps again the led comes on goes off when 2nd connection is made but not flashing when i turn the key

connect the wire shown here to the corresponding wire on the remote starter.

Hey Mike I hate to hijack this thread, but I was hoping you could help me. I am trying to install the same setup in my Buick Rendezvous which is pretty similar to the aztek. Could you tell me which wire you connected the Green igniton wire from the compustar to on the car? And the blue ignition wire? And what about the pink ignition wire on the Fortin unit? Thanks.
