Can I use a Flash-link-updater 1 on an EVO-ONE-TOY2 install?

I have a Flash Link Updater (CRMFLU-100) from a couple years back. Can it be used to update my EVO-ONE-TOY2 (Purchased from Crutchfield) install on my 2012 Toyota Tundra, or do I need to purchase a Flash Link 2 Updater?

I think that you won't be able to access the remote starter side of the module to set those options.
