programming EVO-ALL

0 votes
I purchase this device online and i hooked up according to the diagram i recieved in the box but i am having some trouble with programming the device. i following the intructions and when i press lock button three times like it says the car doesn't start. i unplugged all wires then held the button down then plugged in the four wire connector like it showed then the blue light illuminated and then plugged in the other wires after then it said to press start button twice and the blue light should blink then turn ignition off and then it should be programmed but the vehicle doesn't start. Did i skip a step or did i do something wrong or miss something? Thanks in advance. it is a 2012 toyota camry with push to start evo-all kit

When you are trying to remote start the vehicle make sure all doors hood and trunk are closed.

No keys in the vehicle.

Also does the blue led flash with each lock press?
Yes everything is closed but i seen some other comments I don't have the hood pin connector included in my kit. Is is required for the remote start to work? I did notice the blue led flash with each press of the button then after three times of pressing it sounds like the ignition comes on then the red led flashes three times and doesn't start
Hood pin is not required to start the vehicle but make sure it isnt resting at ground.

3 flash means no tach but of course it didnt see tach the car never started.

Was the vehicle equipped with factory RS?
So it is failing to start because of a no tach fault? What does that mean excatly? I am gonna guess RS stands for remote start and no it doesn't have it factory thats why i installed the evo-all.
its not failing because of tach.

Does the ignition turn on but vehicle does not crank?

If yes I would verify the steering lock connections.
Yes it sounds like the ignition turns on the the doors lock three times then the ignition comes on then it sounds like the doors unlock then nothing happens. Could i need to update the module?
Checked all my connections and tried again. Now the red light is steady blinking which it says I had a bad connection at the rx or tx and both connections are good
Hey Brett did you ever get this fixed I am having a similar issue with my Evo All.

Thanks
